At UPDN, our advocacy work targets key stakeholders across government, civil society, and the private sector to influence change at a national level. In recent months, UPDN has actively contributed to the drafting of inclusive transport policies that focus on safer driving environments, especially for youth and women. We have hosted forums, appeared on national media, and submitted policy briefs to Parliament to push for better enforcement of traffic regulations and stronger penalties for reckless driving. But advocacy doesn’t end at policy—it begins in communities. Our road safety campaigns have reached thousands through outreach events, radio shows, and school visits. The future of road safety depends on awareness, commitment, and accountability—values that UPDN continues to champion.
“Join us as we drive Uganda toward safer roads, one voice and one policy at a time.”
